Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Active South Carolina Teaching License
  • Special Education and Early Childhood degree certification required for EC PCD Teacher (3-4yo)
  • SPED Multi-Categorical endorsement required for ID Mild/Moderate Self-contained K-3 Position
  • Experience working with early childhood and/or elementary special needs students
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
  • Commitment to fostering inclusion and student success

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized education in self-contained and early childhood settings (3-4yo and K-3)
  • Develop, implement, and modify IEPs for students with diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with fellow educators, therapists, and families to support each child’s unique journey
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all required reporting is completed
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet student goals and encourage growth
