Several contract positions are available for licensed Special Education Teachers to provide Learning Support in elementary grades, including a Kindergarten inclusion setting. These full-time roles begin with the school year in August and offer the chance to work closely with dedicated teams supporting the development and academic success of students.

Current openings include:

• Learning Support for Grades 1st & 2nd: Guide small groups of 12 students in Math, ELA, Science, and Social Studies.
• Learning Support for Grades 2nd & 3rd: Collaborate with students in focused learning groups, helping them excel across core subject areas.
• Kindergarten, Inclusion: Foster an inclusive classroom, supporting students with diverse needs as they begin their educational journeys.

Required qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching license (active in Pennsylvania).
• Experience supporting elementary school students, with a strong foundation in Math, ELA, Science, and Social Studies.
• Ability to tailor instruction for small groups and adapt to diverse learning challenges.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with educators and families.
• Enthusiasm for collaborating in a team-oriented, student-centered environment.

Role responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging instructional activities for small-group or inclusion settings.
• Monitor student progress, assess learning needs, and adjust strategies to ensure growth and achievement.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers.
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with district and state requirements.

This full-time position follows a standard Monday-Friday schedule, with hours from 8:00am to 3:45pm. The first day for teachers is August 19th, with students arriving September 2nd.
