Pennsylvania Special Education Teacher for High School Classroom

A school district in Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to support high school students in a co-teaching model. This role focuses on collaboration with general education teachers to provide inclusive instruction and ensure students with disabilities can successfully access the high school curriculum.

Schedule:

• Full-time position

• High school setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-teach in general education classrooms alongside content-area teachers

• Adapt and modify curriculum to meet individual student needs

• Implement IEP goals and provide accommodations and supports within the classroom

• Monitor student progress and collect data to support IEP compliance

• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families

• Participate in IEP meetings, progress reporting, and required documentation

Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Special Education certification (K–12 or 7–12) required

• Experience with high school co-teaching or inclusive practices preferred

• Strong collaboration, communication, and classroom support skills
