High School Special Education Co-Teacher Needed in PA

A Pennsylvania school district is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join the high school team in a full-time co-teaching role. The selected candidate will work closely with general education teachers to support students with disabilities in inclusive classroom settings and help ensure access to grade-level instruction.

Position Details:

• Full-time, onsite

• High school assignment

• Co-teaching/inclusion model

Primary Responsibilities:

• Partner with general education teachers to plan and deliver instruction in inclusive classrooms

• Provide in-class supports, accommodations, and instructional modifications aligned with IEPs

• Support students with academic, organizational, and behavioral needs

• Track student progress and maintain required special education documentation

• Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

• Foster a supportive and structured learning environment for high school students

Required Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Special Education certification (K–12 or 7–12)

• Experience in a high school or co-teaching setting preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
