You’ll start with training on August 17th, 2026, ensuring you’re fully prepared before students begin on August 24th. This full-time role follows a consistent schedule, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, with a manageable caseload of 12 students. Your expertise and passion for special education can make a lasting impact in these formative years.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching certification (or eligibility) in Pennsylvania.
- Prior experience working with elementary-aged students with emotional or behavioral support needs.
- Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and data-driven instruction.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- A compassionate approach and commitment to fostering student growth.
Responsibilities:
- Provide engaging, differentiated instruction for students in grades 4 and 5 with emotional support needs.
- Develop and implement IEPs, collaborating with families, support staff, and related service providers.
