Grades 6 - 8 Special Education Teacher | Bensalem, Pennsylvania

Start an exciting chapter supporting middle school students as a Special Education Teacher for grades 6-8 for the upcoming school year! This contract position runs from August 2026 to June 2027 and offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, 8:15 AM to 4:15 PM, totaling 40 hours weekly. You’ll make a meaningful impact on students’ educational journeys through a dynamic push-in/pull-out resource model designed to meet a diverse range of learning needs.

What we’re seeking:

• Valid Pennsylvania Instructional I or II Certificate in Special Education K-12 (or the ability to obtain certification by end of July)
• Prior experience or enthusiasm for working with middle school students in inclusive or resource settings
• Ability to adapt instruction and collaborate with general education teachers to ensure effective student support
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to building positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues

Role responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction for 6th-8th grade students using push-in and pull-out strategies
