This full-time, contract role offers the chance to work closely with a caseload of 12 students, sharing 4 with local high schools, and providing instruction and guidance to a maximum of 8 students in the classroom at any given time, depending on daily attendance. With the support of dedicated paraprofessionals and the reassurance that there are no physically aggressive students in your care, you can focus on fostering growth and connection.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification in Special Education for Emotional Impairment
- Experience supporting students with emotional and behavioral needs
- Compassionate, patient, and collaborative approach to teaching
- Strong communication skills for working with families, staff, and students
- Ability to adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to diverse learning needs

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide engaging, individualized instruction for students with emotional impairments
