This opportunity calls for a dedicated Early Childhood Special Education Teacher to deliver specialized instruction to young learners aged 3 to 4 years. Working full-time, you will travel between 3 to 4 school sites, including homeschools, daycares, or Head Start centers, ensuring each child receives tailored educational support within their natural environments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with state and local curricula.
  • Leading Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and ensuring full compliance with special education regulations.
  • Conducting rigorous progress monitoring to track student growth on goals.
  • Designing and organizing mobile learning environments utilizing technology to encourage student engagement.
  • Maintaining accurate electronic records and submitting timely progress reports.
  • Collaborating with parents, caregivers, and community partners to promote student success and support.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Valid Early Childhood Special Education Teaching Certification is required.
  • Experience working with young learners in special education settings.
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development and compliance.
  • Ability to manage a caseload across multiple sites efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

This full-time position is based in Benton, Louisiana, with an itinerant travel schedule between several sites within the area. The role provides an exciting chance to impact early learners’ educational journeys in diverse community settings.
