Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential for California
• Previous experience in SDC settings preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide daily instruction for Kindergarten and 1st grade students in an SDC environment
• Design, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to address a range of learning styles and challenges
• Work closely with paraprofessionals, general education teachers, and related service providers
• Foster emotional, social, and academic growth for each student
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state special education requirements
