Positions are available for teachers with credentials in Mild/Moderate Disabilities, Extensive Support Needs (Moderate/Severe), as well as Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE). Qualifications and Credentials:
- Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, or advanced coursework in Special Education or related field
- Valid California Special Education Teaching Credential(s) in one or more of the following: Mild/Moderate, Extensive Support Needs (Moderate/Severe), or Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE)
- Experience working with students with varying support needs, from early childhood to high school
- Ability to adapt instructional methods to suit individual learning differences
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Recent graduates as well as experienced educators are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities Include:
- Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing differentiated instruction and support tailored to student needs
- Collaborating with families, support staff, and general education teachers
- Collecting and analyzing student performance data to drive instruction
- Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Maintaining documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
