In this role, you’ll collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to tailor instruction that meets the unique needs of each student. You’ll create and implement engaging lesson plans across social studies and science, ensuring accessibility and meaningful participation for all learners.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education, with appropriate endorsements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in special education or related field
- Demonstrated experience working with cross-categorical student populations
- Familiarity with adapting curriculum and instructional strategies for diverse learning needs
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and experience writing, implementing, and monitoring IEP goals
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and team members
Key Responsibilities:
