Primary responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with each student's unique needs and abilities
• Instruct and support a classroom of 10 students with severe cognitive impairments, utilizing two to three paraeducators for classroom support
• Create engaging lesson plans tailored to middle and high school academic levels, focusing on academic, social, and life skills development
• Monitor and document student progress, communicating regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Adapt teaching strategies and interventions to ensure student success and growth within a nurturing environment
