Special Ed Teacher - Berwyn, Illinois

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for a PreK-5th grade classroom in a K-12 school setting located in Berwyn, IL. This is a contract position for the current school year (CSY).

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the needs of students with disabilities in grades PreK-5.
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with general education teachers and support staff.
• Monitor and document student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles.
• Implement behavioral interventions and promote a positive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Special Education License.
• LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist 1) certification is required.
• Experience working with K-12 students with special needs is preferred.
