Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold a valid Special Education teaching credential, with bilingual (Spanish/English) proficiency strongly preferred
• Experience working with elementary students, particularly in grades 4–5
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive learning environment and adapting instruction to diverse learner needs
• Previous exposure to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and related documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality instruction and support tailored to the needs of 4th and 5th grade special education students, in both English and Spanish
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to build appropriate learning strategies
• Maintain accurate student records, progress updates, and assist in developing and updating IEPs
• Engage with families and guardians to ensure consistent support and open communication
• Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
