Special Education Teacher - Bessemer, Alabama

Qualifications / Experience Sought:

• Current teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working with K-3 students, preferably in a special education setting
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodations
• Ability to create an engaging, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Commitment to building relationships with students, families, and staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to 7 self-contained students in grades K-3
• Deliver specialized instruction to 2 students receiving pull-out services
