Special Education Teacher - Bessemer, Alabama

What we’re looking for:

• Valid Alabama Special Education Teacher license with appropriate endorsements (substitute certifications are not eligible)
• Prior experience in self-contained classrooms is essential
• Ability to adapt curriculum, provide individualized instruction, and manage varying learning needs
• Strong collaborative skills to partner with other educators and support staff
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning, implementing, and documenting individualized education programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
