Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (required)
• State special education teaching certification (active and in good standing)
• Experience working with students across multiple grade levels: K-5, 6-8, and/or 9-12
• Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities with staff, students, and families
• Adaptability and a passion for fostering inclusive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver specially designed instruction for students with disabilities
• Differentiate lessons to support a variety of learning styles and needs
• Write and update individualized education plans in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Work closely with general education teachers and paraprofessionals
• Conduct assessments and track student progress toward educational goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with families
