Opportunities are available in both an elementary and a middle school setting:
Role A centers in a specialized therapeutic program that emphasizes trauma-informed practices. In this co-taught environment, you’ll partner with a social worker and receive strong guidance from a BCBA, ensuring comprehensive support for each student. Ideally, you’ll overlap with the outgoing Special Education Teacher to ensure a smooth transition for students and staff.
Role B is positioned at a middle school, with a prompt start date and further program details forthcoming.

Key qualifications:
• Active Massachusetts Special Education Teacher licensure at the appropriate grade level
• Experience working with students in elementary or middle school settings
• Background in trauma-informed practices preferred for the elementary therapeutic program
• Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams
• Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive environments for all learners

Core responsibilities include:
• Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborating with social workers, BCBA, and general education staff
• Providing direct instruction and necessary accommodations within a co-taught model
• Maintaining clear and timely communication with families and stakeholders
• Supporting the emotional, academic, and social growth of students
