This full-time opportunity is ideal for an experienced Special Education Teacher dedicated to helping young learners build confidence and skills. Serve students in kindergarten through third grade within both self-contained and pull-out settings.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably grades K-3
• Strong classroom management abilities
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable teaching style
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and guidance for 7 students in a self-contained setting and 2 receiving pull-out support
• Adapt lesson plans and materials to meet individual student needs
• Track and document student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary
• Conduct and participate in IEP meetings and related team collaboration
• Create an inclusive and safe classroom environment that encourages engagement and growth
• Work closely with general education teachers and support staff to foster student success
