Key Qualifications:
- Current Special Education Certification for grades K-6 (SPED Cert K-6)
- Experience supporting elementary and intermediate school-aged students, particularly in special education settings
- Ability to develop and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Demonstrated strengths in collaboration with teams, families, and related service professionals
- Skills in classroom management, differentiated instruction, and behavioral intervention
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instructional support and resource services to students in grades 3-6 with exceptional needs
- Create positive, inclusive learning environments that foster academic and social growth
- Develop, update, and implement IEPs in partnership with staff and families
- Monitor progress and maintain timely documentation for each student
- Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Attend and participate in team meetings and professional development as required
This is a full-time, onsite contract offering a consistent 37.5 hour work week for the duration of the school year. You’ll be part of a dedicated educational community, working closely with a supportive team to help every student succeed.
