Soliant is seeking passionate and qualified Special Education Teachers to support a school district in Birmingham, Alabama for the 2026-2027 school year. The district has multiple openings at both the elementary and high school levels. 

Position Details:

• Elementary Special Education openings

• High School Special Education openings

• Onsite only

• Full school year assignment

• 37.5 hours per week

Elementary Self-Contained Classrooms:

• District's highest hiring priority

• Small classroom sizes

• Typically 4–6 students, never more than 10

• Student needs vary based on disability and cognitive functioning

Requirements:

• Active Alabama Special Education licensure (

• Elementary candidates must hold a K–6 endorsement

• Secondary candidates must hold a 6–12 endorsement

• Endorsement must align with the age group being served

• Candidates holding both endorsements are encouraged to apply
