Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Special Education Teaching certification
  • Proven experience in virtual or remote learning environments preferred
  • Previous service in K-12 or similar settings
  • Strong communication, flexibility, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a district office environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional special education instruction to a small caseload (approximately 7 students)
  • Provide support and progress monitoring for students enrolled in virtual school programs
  • Collaborate onsite with the Special Education Director and other school professionals
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans as needed
  • Maintain thorough documentation and student records
