Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience designing and implementing IEPs
• Background working with elementary-age students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfort with both in-person and virtual teaching modalities
• Adaptability and genuine passion for helping students succeed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted instruction aligned with individual education plans for a homebound 4th-grade student
• Assess student progress, adapting lessons for optimal learning outcomes
• Collaborate with guardians and school staff to ensure cohesive support
• Maintain accurate documentation and provide feedback
• Prepare engaging academic materials tailored to each student's needs
• Adjust to an increasing caseload if more students are identified for services
