Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
  • Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with IDEA and state regulations.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth and independence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education.
  • Active Colorado Special Education Teaching License.
  • Previous school-based experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Compensation for this position ranges from $30.82 to $50.82. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
