A contract opportunity is available for Special Education Resource Teachers to serve students from Kindergarten through 7th grade for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, in-person position offers the chance to positively shape learning journeys and support student success in a collaborative school environment. Three dedicated educators are needed to fill distinct caseloads: one for Kindergarten Resource, one for Grades 1-2 Resource, and one for Grade 7 Resource/Case Manager.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Recent experience working with elementary or middle school students (K-7th grade preferred)
- Strong skills in developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Ability to manage resource rooms and provide both push-in and pull-out services
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- A passion for supporting diverse learning needs and collaborating with classroom teachers
- Must be able to commit to an in-person, full-time schedule from August 2026 to June 2027
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction based on IEP goals and student needs
- Manage caseload for assigned grade(s), providing targeted resource support
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff
- Track and document student progress, updating IEPs as appropriate
- Serve as a case manager for students, coordinating services and resources
- Foster positive, inclusive learning environments
