Position Overview

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school team in Avon, CT for the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs and providing individualized, high-quality instruction.

Responsibilities
Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families

Adapt instruction and materials to meet individual student needs
Qualifications
Connecticut Special Education teaching certification or appropriate endorsement
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field
Previous school-based special education experience preferred
