Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher Certification (elementary level)
  • Experience with K-5 students, particularly those with academic and social communication needs
  • Ability to tailor instruction for a 12:1+1 classroom environment
  • Familiarity with IEPs and CSE processes preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Provide morning instruction (July 9 - August 18) to a small group (estimated 6-7 students)
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistant to support learning
  • Adapt curriculum to meet academic and social communication needs
  • Monitor student progress and maintain documentation
