Special Education Teacher | Bluffton, South Carolina

This contract opportunity offers three positions available at various school levels, allowing skilled educators to make a difference where it’s needed most. These roles are fully onsite and require dedication to supporting students’ unique learning needs.

Openings Include:

• Intensive Support at an elementary level
• Supplemental (Resource) roles at a high school and a middle school

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Experience with individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Strong classroom management abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Genuine passion for helping students with diverse abilities achieve their potential

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement tailored lesson plans according to IEPs
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service staff, and general education teachers
• Assess and document student progress
• Communicate regularly with families to support student success
• Uphold school and district policies and procedures

Benefits and Schedule: This contract role offers a consistent schedule, working 37.5 hours per week, from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027. Compensation for this position is $70 per hour.
