Options are available in both resource and self-contained classroom settings, serving students in grades K-6. Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Prior experience in a K-6 educational setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP process and documentation
• Effective communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet individual student needs
• Proven classroom management and organization abilities
• Committed to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver direct instruction to students in resource or self-contained classrooms
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers and support staff
• Adapt and modify curriculum to support diverse learning styles and needs
• Assess student progress and make data-driven instructional decisions
• Foster positive student-teacher relationships and support social-emotional development
• Communicate regularly with families on student growth and goals
