Available Assignments:

• Resource Teacher (K-3): Guide a diverse group of approximately 30 students, focusing on their unique learning needs in a resource setting.
• Self-Contained Teacher: Work closely with a smaller group of about 15 students, providing comprehensive, structured support.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (required).
• Valid state teaching certification with Special Education endorsement.
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs for elementary-aged students.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and support staff.
• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for empowering students with diverse learning abilities.

Role Responsibilities:

• Create and execute individualized lesson plans tailored to student goals and learning styles.
• Monitor academic, behavioral, and social progress, documenting growth and implementing adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure a cohesive support system.
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages inclusion, positivity, and respect.
