As the ESE Facilitator for the upcoming academic year, you’ll enjoy the flexibility of working 15-20 hours per week. This role partners closely with students, teachers, and families to facilitate student success and ensure compliance with all educational requirements.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Current certification in Special Education
- Experience developing and managing IEPs
- Strong understanding of compliance and auditing processes within special education
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to track progress and maintain accurate records
- Previous experience in a charter school environment is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as ESE Facilitator for a small caseload (fewer than six students)
- Lead preparation, development, and oversight of IEPs, ensuring timely completion and compliance with legal standards
- Conduct regular audits of student records and documents to maintain best practices
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and related service providers to deliver comprehensive student support
- Engage families in the IEP process and keep lines of communication open regarding student progress
