Key Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina Special Education Teacher certification, or eligibility with certification in pending status
• Experience with learning disabilities strongly preferred

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Teach, modify, and adapt curriculum for LD students in a self-contained classroom
• Assess academic and functional performance, documenting student progress
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning
• Collaborate with school teams, parents, and support staff to maximize student potential
• Participate in meetings and contribute to a dynamic special education team
