In this position, you’ll co-teach English Language Arts and Math alongside two experienced educators. Your day will begin at 7:45 am and wrap up at 2:50 pm, ensuring you have a structured, manageable schedule while making a positive difference in students’ academic journeys. The assignment begins August 19, 2026, and continues through May 28, 2027.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Active Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement.
- Experience or strong interest in teaching middle school students.
- Background in special education and ability to collaborate with general education teachers.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive, engaging classroom environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Key responsibilities:
- Co-teach ELA and math (potentially 3 ELA and 2 math periods) for 6th and 7th grades.
- Collaborate closely with two fellow educators to deliver differentiated instruction.
- Support students with diverse learning needs, following IEPs and school guidelines.
