Special Education Teacher - Mild/Moderate

Soliant is seeking multiple qualified Special Education Teachers to support a school district with Comprehensive and Mild/Moderate or Intervention-certified caseloads for the full 2026–2027 school year.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction based on students' individual academic and educational needs.
• Develop and implement individualized instruction aligned with student IEPs.
• Support students in meeting their IEP goals and accessing the general education curriculum.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation related to IEP goals and services.
• Provide appropriate accommodations, modifications, and differentiated instruction.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, administrators, related service providers, and families.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of student goals.
• Maintain a structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
• Support students with varying levels of academic and learning needs.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and appropriate boundaries within the school environment.

Required Qualifications

• Active 461 endorsement required.
• Appropriate Special Education certification for the assigned Comprehensive and Mild/Moderate or Intervention caseload.
• Previous experience working with students receiving special education services preferred.
• Strong classroom management, communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to provide individualized instruction based on student needs.
• Ability to work full-time for the entire 2026–2027 school year.
• Ability to work effectively in a school-based setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience teaching Special Education.
• Experience supporting students with Comprehensive, Mild/Moderate, or Intervention needs.
• Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary school teams.
• Strong understanding of accommodations, modifications, and differentiated instruction.
