Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification for Tennessee

• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance

• Organization and adaptability to manage a small caseload and tailor instructional strategies

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction to 9th–12th grade students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Maintain detailed, compliant documentation of student progress and goals
• Partner with general education teachers and support staff to ensure accommodations and modifications are in place
• Attend virtual or in-person meetings and communicate regularly with stakeholders to review student progress
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that promotes student independence and confidence
