We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Nurse for a full-time 1:1 position supporting a student in a school-based setting. This is a rewarding opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about both medical care and student support throughout the school day.
Position Details:
Position: School Nurse – 1:1 Student Support
Schedule: Full-Time
Setting: School-Based
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct medical support and monitoring throughout the school day
- Perform Vent/Trach care, suctioning, and G-Tube support
- Follow feeding schedules and assist with oxygen support needs
- Assist with toileting and daily student care
- Support the student academically with paraprofessional-style duties, including helping with letters, colors, and other educational activities
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to ensure student success and safety
- Maintain accurate documentation and provide updates as needed
Requirements:
- Active nursing license required
- Strong experience with Trach and G-Tube care required
- Experience with suctioning and oxygen support preferred
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Comfortable assisting with educational and paraprofessional support throughout the day
- Strong communication, teamwork, and compassion for student care

Compensation for this position ranges from $33.71 to $53.71. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
