Special Education Teacher - Boonville, Indiana

Key Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility for state licensure)
• Previous experience in special education preferred (but new graduates are encouraged to apply)

Core Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction and support to students with exceptional needs
• Develop and manage IEPs in partnership with families, related service providers, and school staff
• Modify curriculum and utilize effective classroom strategies to foster an engaging learning environment
• Track student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Engage in positive communication with parents, guardians, and staff to promote student success
• Participate in school meetings, professional development, and continuing education opportunities
