Make an immediate impact in education by providing support to students as a Special Education Teacher in a contract position serving a PreK-5th grade early childhood and child find program. Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience or strong interest in early childhood and elementary-aged students
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students’ needs from PreK through 5th grade
- Participate in the early childhood/child find program, identifying and addressing delays and disabilities
- Administer assessments, track data, and update educational plans as needed
- Collaborate with other educators and related service providers to maximize student success
- Communicate progress regularly to families and participate in meetings to support student growth
