Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid state certification in Special Education
• Prior experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and assistive technologies to support academic success
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to plan and provide effective interventions
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary to ensure continued growth
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that promotes respect and engagement
• Document student progress toward goals and participate in regular meetings with staff and parents
• Maintain compliance with all local and state regulations related to special education
