This full-time, contract position spans the academic year from August 4, 2026, through May 21, 2027, and is dedicated to empowering elementary students with varied needs.

With a student-to-provider ratio of 10:1 and robust team support—including two dedicated paraeducators, and collaboration with OT/PT, psychology/social work, and speech/language professionals—you’ll be able to focus on what matters most: student growth and achievement in a nurturing setting.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Active CDE License with a Special Ed. Generalist endorsement
• Minimum of two years of classroom experience working with students with multiple disabilities
• Demonstrated ability to develop and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Skilled in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction to an elementary caseload in a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Modify curriculum and instruction based on student IEPs and learning needs
• Work closely with paraeducators and related service providers to deliver comprehensive support
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and ongoing parent/guardian communication
• Foster a classroom atmosphere that promotes student independence, self-advocacy, and growth
