With a student-to-provider ratio of 10:1 and robust team support—including two dedicated paraeducators, and collaboration with OT/PT, psychology/social work, and speech/language professionals—you’ll be able to focus on what matters most: student growth and achievement in a nurturing setting.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Active CDE License with a Special Ed. Generalist endorsement
- Minimum of two years of classroom experience working with students with multiple disabilities
- Demonstrated ability to develop and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Skilled in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction to an elementary caseload in a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Modify curriculum and instruction based on student IEPs and learning needs
- Work closely with paraeducators and related service providers to deliver comprehensive support
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and ongoing parent/guardian communication
- Foster a classroom atmosphere that promotes student independence, self-advocacy, and growth
