Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification in Special Education, or eligibility to obtain one
• Experience working with students with disabilities or learning differences
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Creative problem-solving abilities and a commitment to differentiated instruction
• Ability to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and adapt lesson plans tailored to meet individual student needs and learning styles
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in partnership with families and staff
• Provide direct instruction, both in small groups and individually
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and administrators
• Track and report on student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary
• Support student social, emotional, and behavioral growth throughout the school day
• Foster a supportive, respectful, and engaging classroom climate
