Special Education Teacher in Boulder, CO

This full-time contract opportunity runs from February 1, 2027, through May 3, 2027, and offers the chance to work onsite within a resource room setting at a local high school.

Qualifications & Experience:

• At least one year of classroom experience in special education
• Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license, or currently in process (must provide documentation with application)
• Flexibility and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong communication and classroom management skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small-group instruction to students with special needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with staff and families
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to integrate accommodations and modifications
• Maintain effective communication with parents and school team
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district policy
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment

Assignment Details:

• Full-time onsite schedule (37.5 hours per week, with 2.5 hours allocated for unpaid lunches)
• Serve a resource caseload at a local high school
• Contract position for the spring semester of 2027
