What we’re seeking:

• Valid Colorado Special Education Teacher credentials
• Experience managing diverse K-12 caseloads
• Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Strong understanding of both self-contained and resource service delivery models
• Ability to perform all duties expected of Special Education Teachers, including instructional planning, progress monitoring, and classroom management
• Demonstrated commitment to a positive, growth-oriented mindset and putting students’ needs first
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with general education staff, families, and service providers

What you’ll be doing:

• Developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique learning needs
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
• Providing direct instruction and support in both resource and self-contained settings
• Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate, timely records
• Partnering with families and school personnel to foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
