Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Colorado Special Education teaching credentials required
• Experience managing IEPs and implementing accommodations and modifications
• Comfortable working in self-contained, inclusion, resource, or co-teaching placements
• Ability to fulfill all general duties and responsibilities of a Special Education Teacher
• Commitment to fostering student development and advancing inclusive educational practices
• Positive attitude, growth mindset, and a strong sense of professionalism

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for assigned students
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to diverse learner needs
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and classroom management techniques
• Track and report on student progress and update documentation as required
• Adapt to various duties and school-based expectations as needed
