Special Education Teacher - Boulder, CO

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility) in the state of Colorado
• Proven ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Background in differentiated instruction and classroom management
• Excellent collaboration skills for partnering with general education staff, parents, and support teams
• Strong communication skills and adaptability

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction to students with diverse learning needs, both in group and individualized settings
• Develop, monitor, and update IEPs in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Utilize evidence-based strategies and interventions to promote growth and achievement
• Track student progress, provide regular updates, and adjust strategies as needed
• Foster a positive classroom climate that encourages student engagement, self-advocacy, and independence
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all state and federal guidelines relating to special education services
