Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Colorado Special Education teaching credentials required
- Experience managing IEPs and implementing accommodations and modifications
- Comfortable working in self-contained, inclusion, resource, or co-teaching placements
- Ability to fulfill all general duties and responsibilities of a Special Education Teacher
- Commitment to fostering student development and advancing inclusive educational practices
- Positive attitude, growth mindset, and a strong sense of professionalism
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for assigned students
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to diverse learner needs
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and classroom management techniques
- Track and report on student progress and update documentation as required
- Adapt to various duties and school-based expectations as needed
