Qualifications:

  • Current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) License, Special Ed. Generalist endorsement required
  • Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on classroom experience working with multi-disabled students
  • Previous experience managing elementary caseloads preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction and support for a manageable caseload (10:1 student-to-teacher ratio) with two paraeducators
  • Collaborate with a team including OT/PT, psychologist/social worker, and speech-language pathologist
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment onsite
