Multiple full-time positions are available with contract terms spanning August 2026 through May 2027. Current openings include a 6th-grade co-teaching assignment, working collaboratively with general educators to support an estimated caseload of 11 students primarily identified with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) and Other Health Impairments (OHI). Additionally, direct instruction roles are available supporting K-3rd grade, with a focus on students diagnosed with OHI, Autism (AUT), SLD, Intellectual Disabilities (ID), and Developmental Delays (DD). Caseloads for these positions are projected at 10 students each.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education Teaching certification
  • Previous experience collaborating in co-teaching environments preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and legal compliance
  • Experience working with diverse exceptionalities (SLD, OHI, AUT, ID, DD)
  • Effective communication and case management skills
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver instruction in general and special education settings
  • Differentiate curriculum and assessments to ensure all students’ needs are met
  • Develop, implement, and track progress on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate regularly with colleagues, paraprofessionals, and families
  • Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Promote social, emotional, and academic growth for all students
