Current Openings and Caseloads:
- 6th-grade co-teaching position: Approximate caseload of 11 students, serving those with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) & Other Health Impairments (OHI).
- K-3rd grade direct instruction roles (2 positions): Approximate caseload of 10 students each, supporting learners with OHI, Autism (AUT), SLD, Intellectual Disabilities (ID), and Developmental Delays (DD).
Qualifications/Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching certification (state-specific to IL or eligibility for reciprocity)
- Experience with school-aged students and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong collaborative skills for co-teaching and partnership with general education staff
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for travel assignments
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based academic and behavioral interventions
- Manage and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Foster inclusive and supportive learning environments
- Communicate effectively with families, administrators, and support staff
