Key Qualifications & Required Experience:

• Valid MSDE Special Education Teacher certification required
• Demonstrated background in Early Childhood special education
• Experience providing tailored instructional strategies across multiple sites or classrooms
• Ability to plan, adapt, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Reliable transportation with no travel restrictions

Primary Responsibilities:

• Travel to various educational sites throughout the day to work directly with Early Childhood students requiring special education services
• Develop and modify IEPs while collaborating closely with families, related service providers, and other educators
• Adapt and deliver instruction that meets each student’s unique learning needs, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Monitor and document student progress, providing ongoing feedback and support
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and consultations regarding student progress
• Serve as a resource for general education teachers to support integration efforts
