Key Qualifications & Required Experience:
- Valid MSDE Special Education Teacher certification required
- Demonstrated background in Early Childhood special education
- Experience providing tailored instructional strategies across multiple sites or classrooms
- Ability to plan, adapt, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation with no travel restrictions
Primary Responsibilities:
- Travel to various educational sites throughout the day to work directly with Early Childhood students requiring special education services
- Develop and modify IEPs while collaborating closely with families, related service providers, and other educators
- Adapt and deliver instruction that meets each student’s unique learning needs, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Monitor and document student progress, providing ongoing feedback and support
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and consultations regarding student progress
- Serve as a resource for general education teachers to support integration efforts
