Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification for South Carolina
• Experience working with moderate to severe elementary caseloads preferred
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Proven ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

In this full-time role, you’ll:

• Provide direct instruction and support to elementary students with moderate to severe special education needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure individualized goals are met
• Develop, monitor, and adapt IEPs in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Create an engaging, structured classroom atmosphere to support academic, emotional, and social growth
• Utilize diverse instructional strategies and specialized resources for meaningful student progress
