Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • Must hold a valid Professional Educator License with LBS 1 endorsement.
  • Previous experience working in special education preferred.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
  • Passion for advocating for diverse learners and differentiated instruction.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide instructional support and specialized interventions for elementary students with a range of learning differences.
  • Develop, implement, and track progress on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Utilize evidence-based strategies to foster student engagement, growth, and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with general education staff, related service providers, and families.
  • Maintain accurate records and timely documentation as mandated.
  • Prepare learning materials, modify curriculum, and use assistive technology as appropriate.
  • Foster a classroom culture that embraces diversity and inclusion.
